Fra gli obiettivi più o meno espliciti che il Comitato di Redazione di Reumatismo si era prefisso al momento del suo insediamento, vi erano l’entrata in Index Medicus®/Med-line® e la pubblicazione dell’edizione On-line della rivista. Però, mentre quest’ultimo intento era stato chiaramente indicato (1), l’entrata in Index Medicus®/Med-line® faceva parte degli auspici appena sussurrati, peraltro solo negli ambienti degli addetti ai lavori. Ciò quasi per una sorta di pudore scaramantico, trattandosi di un traguardo prestigioso che colloca una rivista scientifica nella categoria delle peer-review recensite, ovvero dei giornali che rientrano nell’elenco della National Library of Medicine (NLM) del National Institutes of Health (NIH) di Bethesda...
